What do you think, feel and hear when you make a mistake? Does your inner critic speak louder than the compassionate voice of God? EJ shares a beautiful reminder of how God sees us and sympathizes with us in our weaknesses (Hebrews 4.15).
Pay attention to what you’re paying attention to, because if these truths don’t anchor themselves in your heart each day, you’re gonna drift. You will find yourself neglecting the most beautiful life that God has destined and designed you for.
Sundays with City Coast Church may be exactly what you need in this season. You are always welcome!

We don't moonwalk into heaven while loving the things of this world. Wise planners seek and surrender to the will of God. As we turn our hearts toward heaven and holiness, the things of the world fade away. James 4.13-17
When we tell a kid "you're an artist," they start drawing. When we say "I'm a healthy person," the healthy habits often follow. Faith works the same way. Wisdom doens't live only in your head or only on Sundays. The real stuff happens everyday: in the text you send, the way you treat the person who annoys you, the quiet choice to spend intentional time with God. We don't have to have it all figured out. We keep living what we believe, one ordinary day at a time. That's how wisdom grows. What we believe drives how we behave and determines who we become 💛
It's easy to believe something. Living it is the hard part. On Sunday we kicked off a new series. This summer is about growing up a bit with practical wisdom from the book of James. True faith isn't something you just hear, or think, or feel. It's wisdom you actually live. We've all done the thing where we agree with something on the inside but our actual life tells a different story. James calls it out gently but honestly — what we believe drives how we behave and determines who we become. You don't have to get everything right today. Faith grows in the everyday choices. Wisdom actually starts with seeing areas where we need to grow 💛 Together, we committing to read James every week for the first few weeks of summer. Five short chapters. Each time through, you'll find something new. Full message at the link in our bio.

Live everyday.
Love everyone.
In Christ.
